My Story

From an early age, I possessed an analytical mindset that has shaped my approach to life. Even during my preschool days, I vividly remember being faced with an array of incredible options during playtime, which left me pondering the best course of action. Instead of diving right in, I would instinctively adopt the role of an observer, carefully studying the choices and behaviors of my peers.

During these moments of observation, I would mentally document my findings and engage in conversations with my fellow playmates, seeking to understand their rationale for selecting specific play areas. Little did I realize, I was unknowingly channeling the spirit of a data analyst, driven by a desire to make informed, data-backed decisions.

This initial exposure to analytical thinking served as the cornerstone for my passion in the field of data analysis. However, driven by my desire to make a positive impact on my community and specifically the children within it, I embarked on a teaching career. For six years, I dedicated myself to educating students in inner-city schools and within the outreach network.

During my time as a teacher, I gained invaluable insights into the significance of effective communication, motivation, and driving action. Despite being in a teaching role, I continued to employ an analytical approach to foster progress. I delved into understanding my students, treating them as stakeholders, and asking the right questions. By discovering their interests, I found ways to seamlessly integrate them into the curriculum, using relatable examples and thought-provoking queries to ignite their motivation.

I discovered my passion for data analytics through a video, and as I delved into courses and improved my technical skills, my fascination with data-driven decision-making grew. Coming from a background in teaching, I realized how my analytical mindset and the importance of effective communication, motivation, and action aligned perfectly with the world of data analytics. Now, I'm driven to leverage the power of data to make informed decisions and create positive impact.
